We had to create a case study for an Institutional context guide that we are working in. We decided to focus on the Lionsgate media institution as it has had represented many successful horror films which include: Saw and American Psycho, both of which were very popular on our audience questionnaire. Once we discovered this we thought that Lionsgate would be a good institution to work with for our horror film opening. We done a lot of research on Lionsgate, its distribution and production element, where it was founded, what other media companies it owns and if that was relevant to our film opening.
